Paint the California Night

Today's post features a beloved parade in its alternate setting.  Paint the Night was originally unveiled as a Disneyland entertainment spectacular for its 60th Anniversary--a nighttime parade in the legacy of the Main Street Electrical Parade, but more vibrant, energetic, and joyous, and a super catchy theme song of its own to.  A few summers later, it was moved to Disney California Adventure to help with DCA's summer nighttime line-up.  Though it took some getting use to, the parade was just as dazzling as ever, so here are a string of photos from one of my visits so many summers ago, enjoying the luminous magic.
