The Molly Brown
At Disneyland California, the Rivers of America are plied by the Mark Twain and the S.S. Columbia, but over at Disneyland Paris, it's the Molly Brown that sails the Rivers of the Far West. This three-level paddlewheeler has a similar vibe to the Mark Twain, but there are distinct differences, such as one smoke stack instead of two, the paddle wheel in the middle of the boat instead of the back, and a generally more intimate profile. But the spirit of adventure is still there, especially considering the boat's famous namesake of history and lore, and this vessel is quite at home in the Old West-evocative confines of Thunder Mesa!
The Molly Brown sits docked at Thunder Mesa in front of Phantom Manor and beside Big Thunder Mountain. |
