A Literal Little Town

Little town... it's a quiet village... so begins the now-classic opening tune to Disney's Beauty and the Beast.  Well, in Disneyland Paris' Storybook Land Canal Boats, it actually is a miniature town--one of many that guests sail by on this charming and whimsical attraction that takes after Walt Disney's original Disneyland classic.  This part of the ride almost feels self-referential, since the park actually is France, so such a storybook village might not be as fantastical as it would be for non-Europeans.  But it's a lovely part of the attraction in the loveliest of Magic Kingdom Parks, and it practically inspires a hearty "Bonjour" upon sight!

Belle's poor provincial town can be seen on the
