Caldera Water Cannons
Tokyo Disney Sea's Mysterious Island is situated on an ancient caldera, which means there is still a decent amount of geothermal activity still going on. This results in occasional water bursts coming from beneath the lake in the middle of this volcanic feature, sometimes to the surprise of passers-by. On the other hand, if one is looking forward to it, the aquatic explosions bring a dramatic thrill to the moment, hinting at the excitement that lurks beneath the surface--excitement that guests can explore in both of Mysterious Island's stellar attractions, Journey to the Center of the Earth and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!
