Overlooking the Pier

 In terms of area, I think the largest port of call at Tokyo Disney sea belongs to American Waterfront.  This ode to classic American seasides has tree distinct districts--a section that evokes early 1900s New York, an area portraying a classic New England fishing village, and a neighborhood that seems to channel San Francisco.  The last one is the smallest, and it may not necessarily be a Northern California tribute, but it does carry the same vibes as, say, Pacific Wharf at Disney California Adventure.  It's this sort of placemaking and atmosphere that makes Tokyo Disney Sea a most wondrous and amazing place to explore.  Every direction one looks like a dream out of a travel magazine--sprinkled with some fun Disney pixie dust, of course!
