Colors of Christmas

With Thanksgiving officially in the mirror, it's time to really focus on Christmas in earnest.  Today, we're taking a look at a little holiday tree lighting at Tokyo Disney Sea called Colors of Christmas, which ran for eight years until last year--its final.  This lovely ceremony took place after the early evening's FANTASMIC! show and utilized the same Sorcerer's Hat barge to provide a wonderful holiday ceremony, featuring a cast of Disney favorites ringing in the evening's Christmas scene.  The Sorcerer's Hat float would slowly light up, using its conical shape to showcase an ever-moving dynamic Christmas tree, complete with climactic pyrotechnic moments as holiday melodies played throughout Mediterranean Harbor.  It was a consistently popular show, with guests packing the perimeter of Mediterranean Harbor to catch a view of the performance.  Here are a few shots of the show from a couple of angles that I was able to enjoy when I visited the park back in 2015 and 2016!

FANTASMIC's Sorcerer's Hat barge played double duty during the winter, doubling as a towering Christmas tree for Colors of Christmas.

The show also featured Mickey and friends on a lovely, aquatic barge decorated for the holidays.

Video screens and fountains created a dramatic affair.

But it made for a beautiful sight!
