Waiting for Halloween

Sally rests at a tombstone, wondering about the arrival Halloween.
I've entitled today's post "Waiting for Halloween," but in reality, the wait is no longer, for we've come upon Ocdtober 31st, the spookiest day of the year!

This season has been unlike any other, with the Coronavirus pandemic continuing to shut down Disneyland and even putting the blinds on other popular theme park haunts like Knott's Scary Farm, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, and Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain.  This means the spooks of the season have primarily fallen on home haunts, who have put up some fantastic displays all around Southern California!

As it is, though, there's still something about the parks and their familiar and premier Halloween craft that tugs at the heartstrings and really channels that haunted autumn spirit.  We'll hopefully have it back next year, but for this October, stay safe, enjoy treats, not tricks, and have a happy Halloween!
