Colors of the Dead
Most of my Halloween photos are nighttime photos, because of the obvious spookier and more atmospheric feel of a Halloween scene after dark. But when it comes to the Día de los Muertos display at Disneyland's Zocalo Park, I enjoy the daytime renditions more. That's because the colorful decorations and tapestries really pop in the golden sunlight in a way that just isn't quite as vibrant at night, and the mixture of plants, sugarskull figures, and ofrendas come together in a vivid rainbow scene.
Plus, I appreciate the ability to throw in a little day/night variety into these posts!

The familiar Día de los Muertos display in Frontierland's Zocalo Park always provides colorful pizzazz. |
