Thanks to the continued Coronavirus-related shutdowns, it's been nearly six months since I've visited Disneyland--by far the longest stretch since I became an Annual Passholder 13 years ago. The absence hasn't been as difficult as I'd imagine--I've had plenty of personal tasks and the blessing of busy work to keep me occupied. But I do get the pang of missing the parks every now and then, especially if I'm editing a photo that is particularly scenic or serene. The late night photo sessions in particular invoke nostalgia... staying in the parks late, waiting for people and scenes to clear, having that moment to take in the Magic Kingdom all to myself. It's all a moment of bliss, and I definitely miss that.
