Life on the bayou conjures up images of slow, easy living, full of serenity and more relaxed pace, enjoying the smooth Dixieland jazz sounds while taking in the watercraft that traverse the waters. That's the sense I get when I look at the image below, taken of New Orleans Square from Tom Sawyer Island. The beautiful architecture, guests strolling by, beautiful blue skies, and layering of trees create an unfolding and lavish scene that is both rich and tranquil. It's a testament to Disney's space-making that the facades, street lights, and tiered paths work together to create an ambiance that feels intricate. It is a lovely atmosphere indeed!
