A Frame of Enchantment
Right now, Shanghai Disneyland has the most involved, elaborate, and sprawling castle, but that descriptor might change in a little bit when Hong Kong Disneyland's Castle of Magical Dreams opens. Like Shanghai's, it won't be themed to any one princess, but rather a collection of them. It will be a unique castle, not derived from any movie. And it will incorporate a sense of diversity within its design and details. The Shanghai Disneyland castle is like that too--its towers are subtly various styles, and it's theme is more about the general nature of fairy tales. Although where the Hong Kong Disneyland castle will layer and soar upward, Shanghai's unfolds more horizontally, giving a bulkier and more sprawling approach.
All in all, though it will be interesting that Disney's two original and multi-faceted castles will both end up being in China.
