The best ride at Shanghai Disneyland is Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure. In fact, it's one of the best Disney rides in the world, holding the number one title for many fans until the recent opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. In Shanghai, Pirates has been reimagined in a movie-centric take that resonates more with the Chinese audience, which wouldn't really appreciate a remake of the original ride. Utilizing a mix of practical sets and 3D projection mapping and large format video screens, this state-of-the-art water ride takes guests through a swashbuckling adventure that dazzles and thrills. It's an absolute gem of an attraction, and I definitely wish I could have ridden it more times than I did when I visited the park--even though I did ride it multiple times still!
