The Big Wheel Thingie

Dory gives an exuberant salutation on the Pixar Pal-A-Around.

Dory is one of the classically lovable characters in Disney (and Pixar) cinema.  The innocently forgetful blue tang is charming and silly and funny, and she's played perfectly by comedian Ellen DeGeneres, who channels her own goofy charisma into the character.

So it's no surprise that Dory is a part of the Pixar Pal-A-Round ferris wheel.  Not only is she featured on one of the carriages (in hilariously enthusiastic fashion, as you can see on the right!), but she's also the ride announcer for rules and ride policies.  I love that she calls it the "Big Wheel Thingie," instead of it's actual ride name.  And her singsong joy just sets a nice and bouncy tone for the attraction.

Anyway, I just wanted to post an interesting angle of the ride, almost looking through its guts, so to speak.  The fact that Dory is on the carriage swinging straight toward the camera makes it seem even more dynamic, and decidedly Dory.
