Getting Resistance Ready

Before guests can board Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, they first, of course, must get in line.  But this is Batuu, not a simple Disney queue, so the line must be part of the story.  Appropriately, what guests uncover as they pass into the tunnels cored into the rocks and petrified trees of Batuu is a sprawling impromptu base, set up clandestinely, acting as a de facto hidden base for the Resistance forces.  There is plenty of infrastructure carved into the chambers, and star charts and weapons and flight gear.  Clearly, there is preparation for battle--especially if the First Order starts snooping nearby.  And guests get to see all of this in the build-up onto the actual attraction itself.  Pretty cool, I must say!
