Last summer, Pixar Pier debuted after a half year of refurbishment. But it wasn't complete (it still isn't, technically). On top of the luminous marquee over the
primary entrance to this themed land, there was a notable lack of a certain famous lamp that was supposed to serve as a topper to a beautiful banner. An animatronic Luxo took an extra four-plus months before it was finally installed late last year. But once that was actually done, I, of course, had to go back for a proper nighttime people-less photo of the scene.
