The Towering Monolith
Something I noticed about Shanghai Disneyland's Roaring Mountain--the home of its E-Ticket rapid ride, Roaring Rapids... from certain angles, this Adventure Isle weenie bears a bit of a resemblance to Yosemite's El Capitan, the towering monolith of rock that is a favorite among mountain climbers and photographers a like.
Of course, the scale is a little different... El Capitan doesn't have a waterfall, and even if it did, the width of the cascade compared to the width of the rock wouldn't be quite as close. But from a profile, Shanghai Disneyland's rocky monument definitely reminds me of Yosemite's icon.
What do you think? Am I completely crazy, or is there a bit of a valid point to this musing?
