A Departed Celebration
As Halloween passes, we move straight into Día de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead. This is a holiday of remembrance and a celebration of the lives of family members and friends passed on. It's a colorful and festive affair, and though it's often associated with Halloween, it's not meant to be scary or frightful. It's meant to be warm and lively, and a more reflective and embracing view of the dead. Today, we remember, and we cherish the memories.
