One of my favorite Halloween Disneyland sights is still the ominous look of the S.S. Columbia docked at Frontier Landing during Mickey's Halloween Party, fog billowing along the Rivers of America, giving the impression of a spectral boat appearing out from the myst. It's a spooky and haunting sight, and under the cool pallor of the theatrical lighting cast upon the vessel, the scene looks unlike anything one can see the rest of the year--day or night. The atmospheric immersion is enchantingly strong, and it makes me a bit sad that I've missed Mickey's Halloween Party for another year, on account of my increasingly busy haunt schedule. Ah well, there are always photos to remember this by!
