Up Close with Main Street Pumpkins

Even though they're the same every year, I think the jack-o-lanterns set up on Main Street during Halloween Time are pretty cute.  Each one seems to have a unique personality and expression, and they contribute to a nostalgic, warm and fuzzy feeling of Halloween in more innocent times, when the snap in the air signified spooky fun.  Nowadays, Halloween is often high intensity and frightful scares (which I actually love), but there is something to be said for that old fashioned autumn charm that classic Halloween of yesteryear pervades.
