The Mick-O-Lantern
The scene below is a classic one during Halloween Time. The giant Mickey jack-o-lantern lit up at night, with an empty Main Street behind it. But this year, there was a little complication. Main Street Cinemas and part of the adjacent facade are currently closed for renovations, which means a straight on shot reveals those undesired tarps that cover the current construction work. The tarps themselves aren't bad, but they don't beat the real thing.
Fortunately, photography is a lot about framing, so shifting the camera to the left a little bit to have the Mickey pumpkin conceal the scaffolding work solves the issue. Voila--an unspoiled scene!
