Another Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort means another sighting of the Halloween Tree, that cute and charming tribute to Ray Bradbury's short story of the same name. I've always thought there should be more Halloween trees. Why does Christmas have to have all the vegetative fun? Sure, Halloween is probably more associate with dead trees than lit up ones, but no one says you can't decorate a tree in Halloween colors--regardless of the tree's actual state of verdancy. So to see a lovely tree lit up in fall reds, oranges, and yellows makes my heart warm for this spooky time of year. It's fun and delightful--attributes that Halloween can also take on!
