Scenes Along Hong Kong Main Street
Hong Kong Main Street bears an uncannily familiar appearance to Disneyland Anaheim, but there are notable differences, from the all-brick street paving to the mountains of Lantau Island in the distance background behind the view up toward the castle to restaurants and shops rearranged and sometimes renamed. But the vibe of the original is there (if a little too geometrically perfect), and it's still very charming to stroll up the street and take in the ambiance, just as it is to wander up Walt Disney's original Magic Kingdom. Here are some snapshots of the scenes along the way, taken during my much sunnier 2016 visit (when compared to my first visit the year prior).
