These days, "Toy Story Land" seems to be all the rage. First opened in Walt Disney Studios in Paris, one soon followed in Hong Kong Disneyland. And this year, Shanghai Disneyland has opened one, and Disney Hollywood Studio will open one next week. With slight tweaks, all of them are relative clones of each other (WDW's being a little more unique than the others). The area is more whimsical than anything, with relatively light immersive qualities. I do wish it could look more elegant, like Tokyo Disney Sea's Toyville Trolley Park. But alas, this is what we get when a corporation wants quick attractions on a relatively inexpensive budget. At least it's cute for the kids!
