Tina Aldana and Her Band
The Food & Wine Festival has plenty of entertainment, with artists and performers scattered between the Paradise Park stage and the Paradise Gardens Bandstand stage. And though most of the entertainment takes place during daytime hours, some performances extend past dusk, such as a gig I caught last month of a cover artist named Tina Aldana.
It was a rainy evening when Tina and her band took the stage, and despite a lukewarm reception from a sparse crowd looking to stay out of the drizzle, Tina came on with great energy and excitement. Through a set that wandered from modern pop hits to old disco classics, Tina's powerful vocals and infectious enthusiasm turned a lackluster audience into a grooving, rocking group dancing along to her melodies. It was a great sight to behold and a fun atmosphere to be a part of, and here are a few photos of the session.
