Mickey's Toontown is not the first thought when most people think of Disney park nighttime magic. For one, it's typically closed in the evening hours--the casualty of setup for the typical evening's fireworks show. But during the off-season, when the pyros are on hiatus, Toontown stays open all the way to park closing, which affords the chance for those empty, close-out night photos we Disney park fan photographers get at other parts of the park. Though the land may be cartoonish and wacky, it features its fair share of luminous beauty, and it's certainly nice to take in at the end of the night, after Mickey and friends have gone to bed, and all other guests have left after a thrilling day.
