Carthay in the Rain

Carthay Circle carries a classic Los Angeles mood to it.  Anchored by the Carthay Circle Restaurant, which was directly inspired by the old Carthay Circle Theater that premiered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it echoes the bygone era of L.A.'s golden age.  And the art deco fountain that anchors the land is elegant and lovely.  When you add a rainy evening to the mix, this part of Buena Vista Street takes on a bit of a film noir feel, which enhances the throwback atmosphere even more, resulting in a dashingly evocative scene.
