Legend says that the petrified tree trunk that stands in Frontierland at the edge of the Rivers of America was a gift from Walt Disney to his wife, Lillian, which was then "donated" to the park because Lillian wasn't quite as fond of it at home as perhaps Walt would have liked. Whether this is actual fact or just myth, the trunk makes itself quite at home in Frontierland, where the rustic and rugged ambiance fits this Old West artifact quite well. And on beautifully sunny afternoons, it feels even more cozily at home!
