Sometimes, I find myself feeling like I've posted too many actual Halloween related posts in a row during September and October, but I still want to present a photo that is somewhat macabre. That's when I turn to attractions that inherently have some aspect of creep to them, such as the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean. On this iconic classic (Japanese version shown below), the start of the ride is moody and dark, with the skeletal corpses of slain pirates subjects of the audience's gaze. Though there are not attempts at frights here, the mere sight of skeletons certainly is a bit ghoulish. But the scene fits the theme, so it's featured here in October!
