Snaps from Orleans

Walking through Royal Street in New Orleans Square, I can't help but notice the little details that form this wonderful, cozy, romantic lane.  The balconies, the signage, the hanging plants, the window shutters... they call combine for a lovely narrow space that acts like a long outdoor room.  It's an idealized version of New Orleans, but it's quite evocative, and even if I've passed through this path plenty of times before, each stroll through still feels as heart-warming as the first.
