It's been a while since I've posted a sunset shot taken from Tarzan's Treehouse, so I figured the time was due for another. On this particular photo, I purposely started with a very underexposed shot and brought out the shadows, lightening up the scene where needed but preserving the highlights. It creates a moodier scene, and it's a bit different from some of my other shots from up here. But I think it's kind of cool, and it's a testament to the power of shooting in RAW. Especially with Nikons, you can recover a lot of detail from the shadows, so don't up hope just because a photo looks too dark (highlights on the other hand... different story).
