A Westernland Christmas

Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland is a festive affair, with garland and decorations spread throughout the park.  Over in Westerland--Tokyo Disneyland's version of Frontierland--the ambiance takes on a rustic holiday feel, with the Old West facades covered with wreaths and ribbons and greenery that fits the wilderness theme.  In addition to this, the Christmas soundtrack takes on a more bluegrass and country feel, adding richness and detail to the atmosphere.

Here are a few shots from my recent trip to Tokyo Disney, focusing on the Christmas decorations for Tokyo Disneyland!

The Country Bear Theater is festive outside (and as you'll find out in a future post, also within)!

The Diamond Horseshoe is Tokyo's version of the Golden Horseshoe in Anaheim. Unfortunately, it's often unused.

More Christmas facades.

The Hungry Bear Restaurant features a very elaborate facade, which means its own bundling of holiday decorations.

Finally, the Westernland Shootin' Gallery is done up too.

  1. Until we went to WDW last year, the Christmas version of Country Bears in Tokyo was the only version I had ever seen. It was cute, but a little different in Japanese :)
