Dropping Up and In

The Hollywood Tower Hotel is so large and menacing that it's sometimes hard to take in all of the detail.  Here's a telephoto shot of the portion of the hotel scorched off by a lightning strike into another dimension.  Even now, decades after the event, the burns still seem fresh.  Then again, the hotel did effectively have part of its soul torn into... the Twilight Zone!
