Over the past few months, we've seen Sleeping Beauty Castle slowly become "
bedazzled" and decorated for its 60th Anniversary decorations. I've been a
little critical in the past, but now that the final version is complete, I think I'm starting to come around. While there are still details that I think are much overly gaudy, the overall effect is nice. Admittedly, it is very elaborate and certainly not sleek and elegant, but there's a regal celebratory flare to it, and especially with the removal of the "diamond domes" atop the turrets, the whole presentation looks nice. I guess it's true: I shouldn't judge a book by its cover... at least before it's finished!

Have you taken any photos of the "bedazzled" castle at night? I don't think I've seen any photos of it at night yet.
ReplyDeleteNot of the final finished product. If you check earlier in this castle series, you'll see night shots of the castle without the 60th medallion, though!
