The Garden Grill
Once upon a time, the Paradise Garden Grill was known as Burger Invasion, DCA's resident burger joint and former purveyor of McDonald's food offerings. But that was back when Disney California Adventure was kitschy and pop-centric, and when it came time to reinvent the park, this went the way of the demolition crew.
When it reopened in 2011, the burgers had been replaced with a Mediterranean flair. Skewers with multiple types of dressing, rice pilaf, roasted veggies, and pita bread offered fresh and tasty courses. The menu has under gone some additional tweaks since then, but I still consider it a nice gem among Disney's quick serve options. The portions are reasonable and satisfactorily filling, and the presentation of the whole restaurant is certainly much classier. So next time you're near the back corner of Paradise Pier, near Goofy's Sky School, stop by the Paradise Garden Grill for a snack!
