A Grim Gaze

It should come as no surprise that the Evil Queen above Snow White's Scary Adventures is one of my favorite figured subjects to photograph.  That sneering, loathesome frown as she gazes upon the common folk with disdain is perfect, and her perch above the entrance of the queue is a nice little detail for those sharp eyed enough to notice her. 

At night, this scene is especially atmospheric. As a villain, the Evil Queen naturally would be more suited to the nighttime than the day, and the colors that come with Fantasyland after dark also contribute to this feeling of regal contempt.  It's all quite fantastic, and a cool exercise in nighttime composition!
