This photo was taken on the same day as the
post-sunset from Paradise Park, and though it looks like the
December sunset series I've
published before, both of these were actually from last month, in April. I had thought that by spring, Southern California would not be having dramatic sunsets anymore, since the more tumultuous weather patterns that typically accompany such sunsets don't usually happen in April. But the photography gods were in my favor, and we did have a beautiful sunset. The light that ignited the skies afterward, however, was even better. And that's the beauty of sunsets and sunrises--the actual crossing of the horizon might not be the best part. Instead, it might actually be moments before or after the actual set or rise. That variety definitely keeps photography interesting for myself and colleagues who enjoy such a hobby!
