I think I've mentioned before that, despite having visited Disneyland hundreds of times, I still can find things that I've never noticed before. During one visit last year, the photo below is an example. This little feature wall is found in New Orleans Square, between Le Bat en Rouge and Pieces of Eight. There's a stairway that goes up to a mysterious second level, and it feels like a little surprise waiting to be discovered by guest attentive enough to simply look up between their hustle between shops or to the next ride. It also makes me wonder who resides at 21 Royal Street. Clearly, the denizen enjoys classic art. But what else is there to his or her backstory? Oh the wonders of Disneyland...
