For the third year in a row, I spent New Year's Eve at the Disneyland Resort. This year, I sought to make it a fruitful photographic adventure, and one of the highlights of the night came at the end of the night, when I came upon Sleeping Beauty Castle lit up for the brand new year. It was quite a sight, seeing the spotlights shining through the air, with the Winter Castle glittering with a wintery glow. I do wish Disney would have this setup more often, but perhaps that would take away from how special it looks when they do light up the area in front of the castle. Regardless, the view was breathtaking--so wonderfully representative of that Disney pixie dust. What a wonderful way to kick off 2014!
