Ever since the Boardwalk area of Paradise Pier was redone a couple of years ago, the atmosphere has been much more vibrant at night. There is a very pleasant sense of that elegant Victorian seaside park, and the energy that the area attracts reinforces the ambiance. It's what the Imagineers set out to do when they revamped this area from a cartoony, surfer Californian theme to something more refined. Guess those Disney designers know what they're doing, don't they?
