The Astro Orbiter may be a bit of a bottle neck at the entrance of Tomorrowland, but my, does it make for a wonderful subject at night, when most of the crowds have left. Standing in iconic futuristic boldness, this remnant from the 1998 Tomorrowland refurbishment takes on the pseudo-Jules Verne-an retro-futurism that Disneyland Paris' Discoveryland holds, and while it's not quite the same, and considered less successful by Disney fans, it is still a beautiful fixture--when the time is right.
