The Great Rivers of America

The Rivers of America have been a feature at Disneyland since day one.  They provide a wonderful simulation of life along the water back in the days of the Old West and the exploration of America's frontier.  Adventurers big and small (but more easily, small) can take a raft over to Tom Sawyer's island and explore the many caves and play areas, or even stumble upon pirate treasure!  Alternately, guests can take a peaceful cruise aboard the Mark Twain or Columbia around the river, past the edge of civilization, and into the wilderness.  Yes, the Rivers of America are a gorgeous tribute to our country's enterprising past.  And they sure are pretty to photograph!
