"Peaking" Above the Rooftops

On the same day I shot one of my favorite photos ever--a "golden hour" photo of the Pirates of the Caribbean queue as the sun was setting--I also spied a unique (to me) view across Adventureland, toward one of Disneyland's mighty peaks.  Yes, the Matterhorn, in its golden glow, was quite a sight, especially as it towered above the surrounding datum of the park.  And even though this view wouldn't make much sense geographically if it was real life, in the Magic Kingdom, it felt just right at home.
