Disneyland is alive with magic and majesty at night, and one of the most photographed spots is Sleeping Beauty Castle. But for a limited part of the evening, the park's icon is even more fantastically lit. After the fireworks end, spotlights uplight this classic icon from behind, forming a spectacular backdrop for the castle. I've loved this scene ever since I saw it on a cover of an old Disneyland souvenir guidebook, and when I was finally able to capture something somewhat close, a couple of months ago, I felt like I'd accomplished a small victory!
