Opening the Morning
Disney's Monstrous Summer All Nighter presented a unique opportunity for photographers. Rather than "close the park out," the end of the operating day was more like "opening a park up," because it provided a rare opportunity to be in the parks as day broke, and light spread across the Happiest Place on Earth.
But before that could happen, blue hour had to occur first. So here, I took advantage of the hour before sunrise to capture Cars Land at peace during this transitional time of day. Whereas normally, I'd be in the park during the evening blue hour, when it was full of people, here was a chance to just stand back, take everything in, and feel like the park was almost my own. It's a great feeling, and certainly one I won't forget soon!
