People often ask me how I get shots with no one in them, and the answer is patience. It's the waiting game, really. Stick around the park long enough after it's officially closed, and eventually, there will be no one else around except the security guards. It helps that Main Street stays open an extra hour after Disneyland Park closes, allowing guests to make their final souvenir purchases before the leaving the park. So there's a bit of leeway allowed for those last stragglers coming off of rides, or looking for photo opportunities like me, or even just wanting to linger to soak in every bit of magic. It all works out--as long as you're a night owl and can stand to be up that late!
