Pooh's Place
I don't venture to the back of Critter Country often. The one dead-end corner of the park, Critter Country is home to only two attractions--Splash Mountain, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and neither happens to be among my particular favorites. But a couple of weeks ago, I decided to stroll through to find some photographic opportunities, since I had noticed that Critter Country was one of the themed lands that was among the least represented on this blog. And that is when I found this little gem, something I'd walked past many times before and never noticed.
Over by The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, a little stream flows beside the main pathway. On the other side of the stream is the loading area for the attraction, but in between is a little feature from the Winnie the Pooh series, nestled right along the waterfront. And though for the life of me right now, I can't remember if it's supposed to represent Winnie the Pooh's house or Rabbit's abode or some other home, I can almost imagine the whole gang from Thousand Acre Woods having a celebration inside...
