That Mickey's Toontown is pretty much landlocked is not part of the equation. Donald Duck is still going to have a fabulous boat docked in his own rather tiny harbor. Why? It's a symbol of his love for Daisy Duck, of course! What sends a stronger gesture than purchasing a boat that you'll never be able to use and name it after your beloved, and even have her likeness carved into the front? Not a lot, I tell you. You don't see Mickey doing this for Minnie. Nope. When it comes to bold gestures, Donald's the man--er--duck for it!
