Although Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a terrifically fun ride and stunning to look at during the daytime, it's particularly fun at night as well. Racing through the dark shadows and towering rock spires, the runaway mine train feeling becomes even more heightened. Dropping, twisting, turning, and careening out of control, without the benefit of daylight to see head, makes for a rollicking wild ride, and some of my favorite and most fun experiences aboard Big Thunder Mountain Railroad have come after the sun has set!
