It's not a pirates-themed ride without a parrot, of course, so Pirates of the Caribbean certainly does not skimp out on that detail. Right out front, as guests enter the indoor portion of the queue, just inside the final turnaround before the boats return to Lafitte's Landing, there is a parrot perched on a shovel, next to a map of Isle Tesoro, gawking at riders and chirping to his heart's delight. He's a talkative bird, never shy to express what's on his mind. Which is probably what you want in a pirate parrot. If you were ever marooned on a desert isle, that type of company might actually keep you from going insane. But I digress...
