The new Christmas tree up off Carthay Circle, behind the Partner's Statue, is a beautifully detailed piece of holiday theming. With plenty of glistening garland and intricate ornaments (not to mention gorgeous string lights that add
a brilliant flair at night), it is a beautiful centerpiece of the Buena Vista Street Christmas time decorations. And as a holiday icon, I love juxtaposing it against the area's main icon--the Carthay Circle Restaurant (or Theater, as it's symbolically representing) tower. They make such a great pair--each regal and elegant in its own way. Indeed, when I look at the scene, I am definitely filled with Christmas cheer.
